In a recent Solar Today article, Aaron Nichols, Marketing and Advocacy Specialist at Exact Solar, talks about how Pennsylvania risks missing out on the solar boom. "According to the Environment America Research and Policy Center, from 2013 to 2023, Pennsylvania ranked 49th for renewable energy growth as a whole, lagging behind only Alaska. The reason for this is simple — Pennsylvania’s outdated Alternative Energy Portfolio Standard (AEPS). If Pennsylvania doesn’t update this outdated standard fast, the state risks being left in the dust as the country moves into a clean energy future." Now, five of our homes at Coltrane Commons are equipped with solar panels.
