We love students! 💚 This week we had the pleasure of connecting with students from Southern Utah University (SUU). As part of the visit, we gave a tour of our corporate headquarters and heard from Whitney Harper, SVP of People, and Bill Mottram, VP of Operations Support, who shared their insights about the company and their experiences. The Students were able to ask questions about the company, industry, and what makes Extra Space Storage tick. It was great to both show and tell why Extra Space Storage is voted one of the Best Places to Work by Forbes, Glassdoor, Newsweek, and more. We have properties in 98 out of the 100 of the largest metro areas in the United States. In total, we provide 2.8 million storage units, creating 308 million square feet of rentable space. In 2024, we added 297 stores to our operating platform. Our property growth comes from multiple sources. Of the 4,000 stores, 49 percent are wholly owned properties, 12 percent are owned in joint venture partnerships, and 39 percent are managed on behalf of independent owners by Extra Space Storage's ManagementPlus platform. This beautiful storage facility recently joined our third-party management portfolio and is operated in partnership with Premier Storage Investors. 🙌 Located in Bonney Lake, Washington, this facility is a three-story, climate-controlled development. It boasts a spacious 71,295 net rentable square feet with 648 storage units in various sizes from 5x5 to 10x40.
