What do you do when your storage facility keeps getting tagged with graffiti? You hire a graffiti artist to cover it up with one, big mural! 💚 Incorporating our Extra Space colors into the urban art found on the streets of New York, artist Wayne Peterkin (along with a few other local artists) got to work. They went with a concrete jungle theme, highlighting notable aspects of the city's culture. This property is located in the Bronx at 245 W Fordham Road. A brand new Texas facility just opened up in partnership with property owner Paul Glover of Storage Choice! Yesterday, team members gathered for a morning of volunteer work at Big Cottonwood Regional Park. 🌳 Extra Space Storage partnered with TreeUtah to guide the team through the process of properly planting 35 trees throughout the grounds. Participants dug, fertilized, and watered the trees in various groups then enjoyed some well-deserved refreshments from Thirst Drinks. We support TreeUtah’s mission to improve Utah’s quality of life for present and future generations by enhancing the environment through tree planting, stewardship, and education.
