Empowering girls to thrive begins with access to quality education. Alongside partners like Asociación Ak' Tenamit, Fabretto is working to expand access to quality education for girls, in the remote Rio Dulce region of Guatemala and beyond. On the International #DayoftheGirl, we celebrate all of the girls across Central America who are breaking barriers and creating change in their communities! #IDG2024

Empowering underserved children, youth and their families to break the cycle of poverty.
About us
Fabretto is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to educate and empower underserved children, youth, and their families to enable them to improve their livelihoods and their communities. nspired by the legacy of Padre Fabretto, we envision a world where all children and adolescents have meaningful opportunities to grow and learn, in communities that offer access to quality education, so that they may reach their full potential. For over 65 years, Fabretto has been building relationships in Central America and beyond in order to provide hope and a better future to the children and youth in need. We believe in the power of partnerships and that working together with families, communities, and local partners creates sustainable change. As we move into Fabretto’s next chapter, we are leveraging decades of experience implementing innovative grassroots education and development programs in Nicaragua to impact communities in neighboring countries in Central America by strengthening the capacities of the organizations we serve.

[EL MORRITO SCHOOL TURNS THE PAGE WITH A NEW LIBRARY] 📚🌱✨ With hearts full of excitement, we celebrated the new library opening at El Morrito School, alongside our partner Fabretto Children's Foundation and the presence of the Minister of Education, Anabella Giracca. This inspiring space, brought to life with a beautiful mural by artist Alejandro Requena and his team, will offer 109 students and 6 teachers a place where imaginations can soar and stories come to life. As Dr. Seuss said, “The more you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.” 🌟 📖Let’s turn the page on a new journey of learning and creativity!
