Fairfax CASA is pleased to announce a new fundraising initiative: Facial Fuzz for Fairfax CASA (FF4FC)! During FF4FC, community members grow facial hair for 30 days, raising money for Fairfax CASA. Growers will, of course, be asked, "What’s with the stache?” or “Is your razor broken?” This is your opportunity to raise awareness and money for Fairfax CASA and the children we serve. The premise is simple, the results are amazing, and our growers are making a direct impact in our local community, on behalf of the ONLY program in Fairfax County that provides a dedicated advocate to abused children with open cases before the court. Starting on November 1, 2024, join us by becoming a GROWER for Facial Fuzz for Fairfax CASA! Grow a beautiful beard, a mean mustache, some lovely mutton chops…whatever absurd and ridiculous facial hair you want to cultivate....all while raising funds for Fairfax CASA! We're looking at you! And your dads, uncles, sons, grampas and friends of CASA. HOW IT WORKS: Just sign up, create a fundraising page, ask your friends and family to support your Facial Fuzz for Fairfax CASA! We will have a kickoff event on Thursday, November 7th and a check-in event during the month, just for fun (and of course, to see your progress!). We will also have a wrap up celebration, and who knows....maybe you'll keep your beard! https://lnkd.in/eYGrb6iv Can't grow a 'stache because of employment rules? You can still support us by supporting one of the growers with a donation!

A world where every abused or neglected child is given the opportunity to thrive in a safe and loving home.
About us
The mission of Fairfax Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is to advocate for the best interests of each abused and neglected child referred by the Fairfax County Juvenile & Domestic Relations District Court through the promotion and support of quality volunteer representation. We seek to ensure that each child’s needs are identified and addressed with the goal of living in a safe and permanent home. We recruit, screen, train, and supervise volunteer CASAs who become a consistent presence in the lives of the vulnerable children they serve.
