Founded in 2013, Faith in New York (FINY) is a multifaith, multicultural, and multilingual organizing network of over 70 congregations in New York City. FINY works with all houses of worship and faith communities, in addition to secular ally organizations, to build a prophetic movement of people of faith for justice across New York City. FINY is the New York affiliate of the Faith in Action, a national organization of over 20 affiliates in 25 states and 3 countries with more than 1,000 member institutions representing over one million families across the country. Faith in Action is the largest faith-based, nonpartisan, multicultural, and community-based organizing network in the United States.
