HURRICANE HELENE RELIEF UPDATE 10.9.24: Western Carolina and Eastern Tennessee - two of the epicenters of destruction remain mainly inaccessible by road. Our neighbors desperately need our support. This is a call to action for all Air Control Concepts teammates. Insight Partners is working with Faulkner Haynes, Inc. and Hobbs & Associates, Inc. in VA and TN to share resources for relief for our affected areas. While we plan for a coordinated effort, we also look to our local leaders to lead pockets of volunteer service. As the affected areas begin the long process of recovery, the community's resilience and solidarity play a vital role in overcoming this natural disaster. With compassion and determination, we can help aid in recovery, rebuild lives, and restore hope. GOOD NEWS Amidst the tragedy, there is good news. Lives are being saved, and critical supplies are getting into the hands of those in need. Fred Rogers, better known as TV icon Mister Rogers, once shared, “When I was a boy, and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, 'Look for the helpers. 'You will always find people who are helping." Today, we are looking for helpers, and there are MANY among our teammates. These are just a few of the folks making a difference in the lives of others today: Insight Partners’ Adam Parker, Clint Burns, and Justin Lynch went to Marshall, NC, last Monday, 10/7, to provide supplies for the community and labor for Tony Mormino and Sean McConnell as they worked to clean out the Insight Partners' Asheville office and downtown Marshall. Adam continues to deliver trailers and planeloads of supplies to Western NC by partnering with the Lake Norman Airpark off Perth Road, Mooresville, NC. The Faulkner Haynes, Inc. team, through coordination by Jonathan Lewis, Britt Oswald, and Justin Powell, delivered a large shipment of essential supplies to Asheville to aid in disaster relief efforts. The community received much-needed support thanks to team members' generous donations and hard work. The team is planning another supply run next week and is seeking additional donations of cleaning products, wipes, diapers, Clorox wipes, paper towels, and toilet paper. Donations can be dropped off or shipped to the Raleigh office at 3400 Yonkers Rd, Raleigh, NC 27604, Suite 110. Contact Jonathan Lewis to help. Insight Partners' Brad Atwell, Rhydon Atzenhoffer, and Travis Craft have made several trips to volunteer, deliver supplies, and collect donations for support across the western North Carolina mountains. They are connecting with local churches and community groups to provide relief. Jeff Lyons, Hobbs & Associates, Inc., secured 18 pallets of water for Eastern TN and Western NC. Out of support for those impacted by Hurricane Helene, and with deference to those guiding the recovery efforts, and our overall commitment to the communities we are humbled to serve, we have made the decision to cancel the roadshow stops scheduled this week in Greenville, Columbia, and Charleston, South Carolina.   Our NC and SC communities were decimated by the storm and the flooding that ensued. Recovery efforts will be ongoing for quite some time as power is out in many areas, hotels are overrun with displaced residents and recovery workers, and gas is in short supply. Travel into these areas is not encouraged as the focus should be singular - recover and rebuild.    Our organizational focus in lieu of these stops will be empowering our local and regional teammates to devote the time dedicated to the show to volunteering in whatever way their local community could benefit from. Our HR team will be working to facilitate this effort across SC and Western NC. Our Asheville office (located in Marshall, NC) was completely flooded.
