💜Christ -like Love 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 says Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 🤝Accountability Being willing to answer for the outcomes resulting from your choices, behaviors, and actions. 🏡Independence Having the resources to be able to survive without outside assistance and free from outside control. Carmen's* life took a devastating turn last spring when a car accident set off a chain of personal, professional, and health challenges. Struggling without a reliable vehicle, she felt trapped, as if every step forward was met with two steps back. In the midst of this chaos and uncertainty, she held tightly to her faith and hope. She applied for a vehicle through the Cars of Hope ministry, a nonprofit run by volunteers that repair and donate cars to under-resourced families in the Chicagoland area. At the right time, she received an email that changed everything; she had been approved. Overwhelmed with emotion, Carmen said, "When I saw the van that would be perfect for my family, I was shocked, speechless. I no longer have to worry if my car will start or rely on Ubers. Now, I can focus on achieving my dreams." To learn more about Cars of Hope visit: https://zurl.co/CRSY *Name changed to protect privacy
