Wrapping up our #NationalDogWeek 🐾 celebration with Fetch manager, Sandra Weber Lewis and her crew of furry pals. 🐶❣️ Sandra adopted her first rescue dog, Wilson, after her daughter fostered him. “We couldn’t imagine him living anywhere else,” she said. “He’s our resident goofball.” 🥰 Next, Otis entered the mix. “He’s a super-chill dog — his favorite pastime is splooting out in the perfect position, looking utterly content.” 💕 The boys, Wilson and Otis, are the best of friends, and they're both incredibly gentle with their senior sister, Nixi, who's about to celebrate her 15th 🎉 birthday. #FosterDogs #PetInsurance #ShelterDogs #DogMom

When Senior Product Manager, Nicole Follini adopted her dog Milo 🐶, he was only 8 months old — and the two have been inseparable ever since. “He really embodies the definition of a Velcro dog,” Nicole said. “Adopting Milo hasn’t come without its struggles — he has separation anxiety and a general fear of strangers. But helping him overcome those fears and seeing his personality shine through ✨ has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life 💖. I wouldn’t trade any moment with this goofball 🐾 for anything.” #NationalDogWeek #PetInsurance #ShelterDog #ShelterPet

🐶❣️ In honor of #NationalDogWeek, we’re spotlighting employees’ stories about their pups every day ❣️🐶 When Director of Donations and Development Leigh Penner met her rescue dog, Charlie, at a shelter in Virginia, he was clearly very fond of the young puppies who were found with him. “Because of Charlie’s caretaking instincts, the shelter assumed he must be their father,” Leigh said. “During our visit, he kept running to check on the puppies then back to us.” Leigh helped the shelter place the puppies in a foster home with one of her friends, and all three were then adopted by the friend’s family members. “All four dogs have wonderful dispositions,” she said. Now, Charlie and one of his pups, Baxter, are certified therapy dogs and part of the Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters. Charlie and Baxter visit the hospital in Norfolk, VA monthly. “The dogs love it and the kids love them,” Leigh said. ”Charlie is the most loving and fun-natured dog. He loves all people and animals — including cats.” #PetInsurance #RescueDogs #ShelterDogs #ShelterPets

Every day is #NationalDogDay at Fetch 🐕 ❤️ — and at the home of our Shelter Operations Manager Chrissy Devlin. Her 8-week-old pup Winterlicious is the 13th rescue dog she has welcomed into her home. 🐾 Chrissy and her wife adopted Winterlicious from Brandywine Valley SPCA — a Fetch shelter partner. “The story of the name Winterlicious is actually really funny,” Chrissy says. “My hero in this world since I was 13 years old is the 80's pop star, Debbie Gibson. 🎤 I had just purchased tickets to a Debbie Gibson Christmas Tour titled, ‘Winterlicious’  — and the shelter operations director knew I wouldn’t be able to resist fostering a pup with the same name. This is also how I ended up fostering two kittens that they named ‘Debbie’ and ‘Gibson.’” Winterlicious might only weigh two pounds — but Chrissy says “she’s bold and brave!” ✨ #RescueDogs #PetInsurance #ShelterPets

Oscar found his forever family with dad, Trey and mom, Sara eight years ago. "Oscar was there the day I proposed to my wife, Sara," Trey says. "And Oscar was the ring bearer at our wedding." 💍 What's more, Oscar is a cancer survivor! ❤️ "Today, Oscar works (takes naps) as my Assistant Manager at Fetch." 😂 Thank you so much to Trey, Sara and Oscar for sharing their story! #RescuePets #DogLove #PetInsurance #OscarTheGrouch

Looking to increase employee satisfaction and retention? If so, here’s an unlock for you: offer pet insurance as an employee benefit. As more households include a pet — 70% in the U.S. as of 2021 — pet insurance shows employees you understand and care about what’s important to them. Why this is a win-win for brokers and clients: ✅ Adding pet insurance to your benefits portfolio can serve as a unique selling proposition for your brokerage — it shows you’re a forward-thinking and innovative partner who’s attuned to the latest trends and employee needs. ✅ Financial protection for employees includes helping with veterinary bills. The average cost of emergency veterinary care ranges from $800 - $1,500. Offering pet insurance alleviates employees from carrying this financial burden alone. ✅ Employee retention and engagement gets a big boost when pet insurance is offered as a benefit. A survey by Willis Towers Watson found that 34% of employees who are satisfied with their benefits are more likely to stay with their current employer. ✅ Fetch Pet Insurance provides the most comprehensive coverage for injuries, illnesses, hereditary conditions, dental and more. Giving employees this peace of mind and protection means they are better able to focus on what their employers are asking of them.
