    The AIM Act brings new requirements, especially for facilities with large refrigeration or cooling systems. Apart from doing a comprehensive asset inventory, you're going to need to plan for operational changes as well. Here’s what to focus on to get that done: 1. Install automatic leak detection systems (ALDs). These systems need to be installed, calibrated, and maintained to catch leaks early. Work with your service providers to schedule installations if needed. 2. Create a regular inspection schedule. Larger systems may need monthly inspections, while smaller ones might only require annual checkups. Staying on schedule helps catch issues before they cause downtime. 3. Keep detailed records. The AIM Act requires thorough logs of refrigerant usage, leaks, and repairs. Training your team and using refrigerant management software can simplify reporting and keep you audit-ready. 4.
