Meet Susie Sanchez, Executive Assistant who works remotely from the Bay Area and Northeast, GA. Susie has over 25 years’ experience as an executive assistant, with almost a decade spent here at FICO. She’s a devoted wife, mother of three, grandmother, published author of her memoir The Dream Lived, former professional cheerleader, and a recent cancer survivor. On a weekly basis, Susie arranges hundreds of decision-making meetings and calls for executives, facilitates and coordinates team and client offsite meetings and activities both domestically and internationally, and arranges strategic meetings with end results being customer deals being signed. Somewhere through every successful project – an executive assistant was a part of that journey. Reflecting on when she was diagnosed with cancer in 2021, Susie emphasizes how grateful she is that FICO truly offers a work-life balance. In addition, Susie learned about the incredible resources FICO offers to employees, including the Included Care program that assisted her in gathering several cancer medical opinions across the nation before committing to a treatment plan. She explains, “This is a huge benefit and provided me so much peace of mind knowing other hospitals across the US spent time reading my file, sharing their thoughts and knowledge, and agreeing with my oncologist here in the Bay Area regarding my treatment plan. It truly was a fascinating, heartfelt, and personal experience for me in a time when I was faced with so much fear and uncertainty. This is a great benefit that FICO offers.” Sharing a piece of advice for aspiring professionals, Susie states – “Lean in, be heard, and use your voice to make an impact. If you have a thought, a concept, or an idea that’s unique and that can add value – share it. Share your vision, your thoughts, and ideas - be heard.” To learn more about FICO opportunities, visit: https://lnkd.in/epE8r72 #FICOVoices

Start early. --- The single piece of financial wisdom that ultimately determines financial freedom and retirement age. FICO believes in empowering middle and high school kids with basic financial literacy and tools that will set them on a lifelong journey to financial wellness. The only thing brighter than the sun on a gorgeous Washington DC summer day were the kids' smiles at the final Chelsea game of the season, co-sponsored by FICO's #ScoreABetterFuture initiative. We had the distinct pleasure of hosting our clients from Banco Bradesco who flew in from Sao Paulo for this event. We got to chat about how the Bradesco Brain is pushing innovation boundaries fueled by FICO platform, and how principality is driving AI-focused development in Latin America. The game did not disappoint either - Chelsea women beating Arsenal 1-0. Special shout out to Harmony Sochor, MBA and Erika Joyce Cabling for pulling off yet another successful event. They are already on a plane to the next one (no idea how you do it) #SABF #FinancialLiteracy #FICOPlatform #AppliedIntelligence Marco Pimentel Rukiya Kelly Daniel Nestel Jennifer Tubbiolo

Meet Naomi Palmer, Platform Success Partner for FICO based in England. Naomi enjoys problem solving and finding creative ways to communicate with customers. As a business user of FICO fraud solutions prior to joining the FICO team, Naomi explains, “I had no idea of the breadth of use-cases and industries that FICO Software and Scores serves. I now see that FICO really is the ‘brain’ for many organizations. I see FICO as more than just a software provider; we are a true partner who enables intelligent decision-making across the enterprise for our customers.” Sharing a personal story of the evolution of her work at FICO, Naomi explains that “Throughout my career at FICO, I have been given a range of opportunities, which have allowed me to develop new skills and explore new areas within the organization. FICO really encourages and enables employees to shape the roles they are in or move roles internally if they are interested in doing so. Also, joining the FICO Women’s Leadership program has shed a light on how to think about leadership through a different lens than I had seen before. The program has allowed me to gain access to a broader network within FICO and given me the opportunity to learn and develop both personally and professionally from the connections I have with my colleagues around the globe!” With a passion to tackle challenges either on her cycling trips with her dog or in the office, Naomi emphasizes the importance of defining what success looks like to you. Naomi wraps with a positive piece of advice, “There is an old saying ‘it’s not what you know, it’s who you know,” which I think of often. If you’re open-minded to learning, then acquiring knowledge should be the easy part. For me, taking advantage of mentoring opportunities has been a brilliant way to learn from others with more experience, and to develop the way I think and/or deliver in particular areas.” To learn more about FICO opportunities, visit: https://lnkd.in/epE8r72 #FICOVoices
