About us

The Figge Art Museum is the premier art exhibition and education facility between Chicago and Des Moines. Its landmark glass building on the banks of the Mississippi, designed by British architect David Chipperfield, is home to one of the Midwest’s finest art collections, and presents world-class traveling exhibitions. Its studios, auditorium and spacious lobby are alive with art classes, lectures and special events that attract visitors of all ages.

    Tricks-N-Treats is happening this Sunday, October 27 at the Figge! Gather your little monsters and join us from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. for some FREE family-friendly fun before Davenport’s Annual Halloween Parade. Collect tricks and treats as you move through the galleries, get crafty with art activities, snap a memory at our fun-tastic photo area, and gobble up spooktacular treats.     Tomorrow, Thursday October 24, meet our new Executive Director and CEO, Melissa Mohr, at the Director's Open House in the Figge Cafe, and then join us for a journey with Wolfskill & The Wild. Experience a musical tour that translates art into sound as we experience recently donated artworks from The Lewis Collection in a whole new way. 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM | Director's Open House 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM | Musical Tour with Wolfskill & The Wild We're always open and always free every Thursday night at the Figge! As part of a dog patrol tasked with clearing stray dogs before the 2008 Olympics, he bonds with a stray black dog.
