Trail running in Salt Lake City with Filene Lab! I flew to SLC to present “#Innovation: Lessons Learned on a Bicycle” 😁 Such a great way to share my story and relate my experiences to the innovative mindset. This was the Filene Research Institute Lab Symposium, an annual gathering of creative thinkers from the credit union industry. I also pitched my startup for using #blockchain as a ledger for secondary-market loan activity (participations and sales). We already built the prototype, so this is about making it operational with credit union partners. Let’s go! 🙌 Did you know the trail running in SLC is amazing 🌟?! I did the Canyon Creek Trail yesterday, just a couple miles N of downtown. This morning, a group of us did Ensign Peak at 5:30am in the dark! Heather Ristow, CCUE organized this adventure with Benjamin Maxim, Shirley McFarlane, and Julie Cournoyer (Knoble). My legs have not fully recovered, so my quads were NOT happy on the downhills 😖 Many thanks to McKaye Black and Megan Jackson Freshour for organizing an amazing symposium. Looking forward to exploring more of these ideas for financial innovation. The future is bright! 🌈

As Filene's Lab Symposium continues this week in Salt Lake City with nearly 50 credit union leaders from The Lab* at Filene, we wanted to give you a sneak peek into the 20 test concepts in 4 solution categories that the group will vote on to prioritize the tests we run over the next year. 2025 Test Categories: -- Growing Membership & Product Adoption -- Improving Operational Efficiencies -- Enhanced Member Engagement -- Security and Fraud Prevention Each test concept has an element of financial well-being integrated into how the solution is designed. Over the next 2 days, credit unions in Filene's lab will vote on the top 5-6 ideas to explore further in their collaborative approach to fostering innovation across the industry.
