We are a film collective located in Salt Lake City, Utah that partners with forward thinking brands and creatives to produce high-quality content and meaningful experiences through film and other creative outlets. Through ideation and tireless experimentation, FilmLaab has been able to discover the formula to create an effective and visually stunning experience that elevates brands. We also create self-initiated content, campaigns, merchandise, and other creative projects to help lift and redefine creative culture and current methods of production.

Here's a behind the scenes clip from the Mobix shoot yesterday. I cannot say enough good things about FilmLaab... Mitchell Thayne and his crew were professional and creative. Every decision was based on what the best idea was, not where that idea was coming from. That kind of humility is hard to find. I'm excited to show you the end results later this month. Placing bets on ourselves.
Yesterday we made some big bets on ourselves. We purchased a new $45,000 camera (a Red V-Raptor X for you gear heads) and we shot the intro/outro sequences for our upcoming showreel. Frankly, we are in a tough financial spot… and it’s not just us. Every business owner and company we work with has expressed concern over the economy, finances, and where to invest their efforts from a marketing perspective. It’s a tough time. Lots of uncertainty. This is where we are placing our bet on ourselves. Investing in gear to take things to a new level. Putting on a large production to present our work in the best possible way. Let’s see how it all comes together. Sink or swim. Our new 2024 showreel drops this coming Wednesday. 🫱🏼🫲🏽
