Nel, a contemporary art gallery in Cape Town, will open a must-see exhibition by Willie Bester this October. Bester has acquired global fame as a "protest artist" dealing with the theme of Apartheid. The peak of his creative activity was in the 1980s when Bester partnered with several other artists to break the boundaries of the racial divide in art. His paintings and mixed-media works are impressive, emotionally provoking pieces of anti-apartheid expression, which highlight the inequality and poverty in the lives of South African people of color of those times. A grand milestone in Iranian digital art, the opening of Platform101’s fourth edition of glitch art exhibitions, has just taken place on September 27.
