Liu Shiming was one of the brightest representatives of modern Chinese art, winning global fame due to his unique approach to fusing ancient Chinese modeling techniques with folk art and present-day themes. His legacy is broadly appreciated in China and far beyond. This year, the NYC-based non-profit Liu Shiming Art Foundation opened the brand-new Liu Shiming Art Gallery in Manhattan, thus giving every New Yorker an opportunity to embrace the artist's unique works. We are happy to share the second part of the story about our Banksy wall relocation project. As you already know, this February, Fine Art Shippers curated the extraction and relocation of the Banksy mural “Ghetto 4 Life” from the Bronx, NY, where it spent over a decade since 2013, to Bridgeport, СT. This month, the project was completed after the mural was restored. This job was done in collaboration with SOLONOI, an amazing artist duo who arrived from Canada to join us at this last stage of the project. Only a couple of days are left before the Fine Art Shippers’ art shuttle departs from NYC to deliver art and antiques along the East Coast. The starting date of the upcoming trip is July 22. Our art shuttle will start its journey by visiting Baltimore and Washington, DC. However, our main destination is Florida where we will make stops in Ponte Vedra Beach, Boca Raton, Sunny Isles Beach, and Miami, among other cities. On the way back to New York, the art shuttle will also visit Durham in North Carolina and Alexandria in Virginia. Please keep in mind that the shuttle route is quite flexible, so we can always add other stops on demand.
