    Here are 5 ways a 700k-follower, dermatologist-founded Shopify skincare brand could go beyond discounts to boost LTV (profitably): We conducted a retention & LTV audit for Murad Skincare. They are doing some exciting things with their Murad Rewards, but here are the biggest opportunities we found to protect margins and unlock incremental sales: 1. Tier Differentiation: Higher tiers should feel exclusive. Right now, most benefits are available to all members. Where's the incentive to level up? 2. Brand Asset Utilization: With a founder-led brand this rich in history, there's gold to be mined. Think exclusive content, virtual events, or even exclusive merch or partner perks for top-tier members. 3. Engagement Diversification: Why stop at purchase-based points? Reward customers for engaging with educational content, supporting partner charities, or sharing on social media. 4. Personalization Power-Up: That skin quiz data? There's potential to take this personalization further. It's begging to be used for tailored offers and product recommendations that support a tailored skincare experience. 5. Post-Purchase Potential: The "order confirmation" page is prime real estate. Use it to collect more data, encourage social sharing, or nudge towards that next purchase. SKINCARE-SPECIFIC The program structure is set up for success in the SKINCARE category. Flaunt's quizzes and survey module enables customers to update their skincare profiles and start getting tailored rewards and offers right away with our deep Klaviyo integrations and personalized offers capabilities. No more capturing data that gets trapped in a silo and can't be activated for different campaigns. Flaunt helps activate skin quiz and profile information for a personalized rewards journey. ------ 2. SUBSCRIPTION-INTEGRATED Blair Hayes aimed to reward the right behaviors and reduce subscription churn. Her "Subscribe and Save" discount is rare and highly valued. She wanted a loyalty challenge that incentivized first-time subscribers to stay beyond their initial purchase, while also rewarding existing subscribers—all without eating significantly into margins. We tackled technical challenges with Recharge, where customers had multiple subscriptions on different days.
