When we first started exploring Floreo's innovative technology, it was quite new to us. Roxanne Gayle, Ph.D., BCBA-D, LBA, Ashley Fuhrman, and I embarked on a small clinical pilot across several locations, collaborating with four highly motivated BCBAs who dedicated themselves to extra training and valuable field feedback. The response was immediate and overwhelmingly positive – the kids loved it, parents were amazed, and our clinical team enjoyed integrating it into their practice. This success led us to launch a formal study addressing key questions on skill acquisition, maintenance, generalization, social validity, and indices of happiness. Our paper on this investigation has been published in the journal, Behavior Analysis in Practice! We hope it serves as a model for integrating new technologies into clinical settings and systematically evaluating important clinical variables.
