Last week, Florida East Coast Realty, LLC and Panorama Tower were thrilled to sponsor an incredible Cigar Night hosted by the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce at Empire Social Lounge in Brickell. The event was a resounding success, bringing together esteemed members of our community for an evening of wonderful camaraderie, premium cigars, and exceptional spirits. On Thursday, July 25th, approximately 340 people gathered at Miami’s Jungle Island to honor this extraordinary group of young leaders. The annual 40 Under 40 Award, one of SFBJ’s most popular signature events, recognizes executives under the age of 40 for their remarkable career achievements and community contributions. Celebrating the Legacy of Tibor Hollo (July 13, 1927 – May 1, 2024) As we reflect this month on what would have been Tibor Hollo's 97th birthday, we honor and remember his extraordinary life and contributions. A visionary and a pioneer in real estate development, Tibor's impact on Downtown Miami is immeasurable. From surviving the horrors of the Holocaust to transforming Miami's skyline, Tibor's journey was marked by resilience, integrity, and an unwavering belief in community. As the founder of Florida East Coast Realty, his foresight brought us iconic landmarks and a new era of urban living. Tibor's legacy is carried on by his family—sons Wayne and Jerome, and grandson Austin—who continue his work with the same devotion and passion. His philanthropy—in partnership with his beloved wife Sheila—has left an indelible mark on our community, enriching lives through education, healthcare, and the arts. As we remember Tibor Hollo, let us celebrate his incredible life, his boundless dedication, and his lasting contributions to our city. His spirit will forever shine in the heart of Miami. Rest in peace, Tibor Hollo. Your legacy endures.
