Florida, once again, finds itself preparing for another hurricane. 🌪️ At FUELS, our hearts are heavy as we think of all the families who were recently impacted and now face this challenge once more. To everyone in the path of Hurricane Milton, our thoughts and prayers are with you. 💙🙏 Please take every precaution, stay informed, and most importantly—stay safe. We’re with you in spirit as we weather this together.

Donations from the members of Southwestern Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) have been such a blessing to our community! 🙏 Yesterday, after dropping off school supplies for the teachers and students, we asked, 'What else do you need?' The staff shared that so many of their families lost everything. They urgently need uniforms, shoes, socks, underwear, water bottles, and backpacks. 🎒👟 Thanks to your incredible support, every donation we received in the last 24 hours went directly toward purchasing these essential items. I shopped this afternoon and dropped off uniforms, socks and underwear. The relief and gratitude on the staff's faces was overwhelming—it broke me. If you would like to donate directly to Hurricane Helene relief, please mention 'Helene' or the specific school community you want your donations to go to when donating. Every bit helps! 💙 We couldn’t do the work we do without YOU and your support. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you! 📦 More Support Delivered! 📦 We’re excited to share that in addition to the backpacks, lunchboxes, and headphones we shipped yesterday, today we’ve delivered our first round of donated, much-needed school supplies to the teachers and students of Gulf Beaches Elementary, who were affected by Hurricane Helene. 🌪️✏️ Some of the items delivered: Big Books 📖 Bulletin Board Materials 🖼️ Pens, Pencils, Composition Books, Notebooks ✍️📓 Expo Markers, Erasers, and Markers 🖊️ Teaching Materials like Pocket Charts 🎒 Play Parachute for PE 🪂 A HUGE thank you to everyone who generously contributed to this effort! A special shout out to Shannon Grauer, Shannah Campbell and The Power Gals of Dunedin, and Southwestern Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). Your kindness is already making a big difference, and we’ll keep delivering supplies as long as there’s a need and donations keep coming in. Thanks to a generous donation, Florida's Unique Education Learning Support was able to purchase 13 lunch boxes, 14 backpacks, and 60 headphones to support students impacted by Hurricane Helene at Gulf Beaches Elementary, Madeira Beach Fundamental, and Osceola High School! 🎒✨ These items are being sent via Amazon to ensure they arrive quickly and safely. 🙌 We have started getting supplies donated too so we will be making a few trips to drop off those as well! We’re so grateful for our amazing community for helping to make this happen!
