We are thrilled to announce Karen Padgett as FluoroFinder's newest board member! Karen brings over 20 years of success in the biotech and life sciences industry, where she has proven her ability to challenge the status quo and develop strategic plans to drive organizational growth. In 1996, Karen founded her company, Novus Biologicals, and drove business growth and expansion until the successful sale of the company to Bio-Techne in 2014. Beginning her business from a basement office, Karen grew her company to a 120-member global team, achieving consistent profitability growth. She partnered with top scientists to develop go-to-market strategies, and she recruited, trained, and developed her staff, with a large percentage of her management team progressing on to key roles within global corporations due to her mentorship capabilities. Karen holds a BS in Microbiology from Indiana University, Bloomington, and a MBA in Marketing from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business. Karen's entrepreneurial, educational, and leadership expertise will be a valuable addition to the board as FluoroFinder continues to grow and provide innovative solutions and access to an engaged community of cell biology researchers.
