Sometimes our drivers are adopted by our customers. This was the case with Foodliner driver Benny Chavez and Rich Products Corporation (commonly known as Rich’s). For over 30 years, Chavez delivered bulk high-fructose corn syrup to the company’s Niles, IL facility. During the busiest times, Chavez delivered over 20 loads a week to Rich’s, and it's estimated he has delivered more than 1 billion pounds of corn syrup over the years. When Chavez retired in late September, Rich’s Niles team named its bulk receiving dock after the Franklin Park, IL terminal driver. The company is putting a signed portrait of Chavez in its front office. The company also presented Chavez with retirement gifts when he delivered his final load on Sept. 25. #GoingTheDistance #TruckDriver #Retirement

An update from our parent company!
Rebranding efforts at McCoy Group’s offices in the Port of Dubuque, including the addition new signage, are gradually being implemented. In March 2023, company officials announced plans to purchase the four-floor facility at 501 Bell Street in Dubuque. Currently, McCoy Group offices occupy one floor of the building, with construction underway to accommodate teammates on a second floor. Other non-affiliated businesses occupy the building's other office space. #DrivingExcellence #McCoyGroup #Dubuque

Training and employee development are critical to the growth of any company, according to Tim Yochum. "Always be looking for and training your replacement," the recruiting manager and responsible care coordinator said. "A company can’t grow without good people, and good people can’t grow if they are not provided training and opportunities to grow." #ManagerMonday

Foodliner and Quest Liner’s Jon Stenzel and Jacob Munson were recognized earlier this month by the Iowa Motor Truck Association (IMTA) for being transportation industry safety advocates. The Foodliner/Quest Liner teammates were honored during the IMTA’s Management Conference awards program, as they were two of eight finalists for the organization’s Safety Advocate of the Year honor. Stenzel serves as Foodliner and Quest Liner's director of training, and Munson is the manager of the compliance department. #SafetyAdvocates #IowaTrucking #GoingTheDistance
