FIFA has officially announced that there will be an annual U-17 World Cup, switching from the previous biennial format. It has been confirmed for the next five editions, commencing in 2025. The tournament will also be expanded to include 48 different nations, ultimately providing more opportunities for youth players around the world 🌎 This format change is ultimately a result of the rapid growth of youth football worldwide and FIFA's commitment to developing youth football. This change will provide more players with opportunities and will aid in recruitment, including age groups that were previously at a disadvantage. The next edition of the U-17 World Cup will take place in Qatar in 2025 ✅
