FCA remembers one of our own this week. Glenn Steele passed away on August 5, 2024. Glenn worked for FCA off and on from 2006-2022 where his principal responsibilities included field inspection at the New York Times Headquarters Building, the new terra cotta rainscreen for 215 East 68th Street, and the New Terminal B at LaGuardia Airport. Glenn was always happy to be at work. He took his job inspecting as an opportunity to delve into the finer points of technical detailing and building science. He was always focused on construction and what he might contribute to the discussion. His professionalism and well-intentioned concerns made a difference in the tradesmen he oversaw. We can always think of Glenn when we see the terra cotta joint alignment at 215 East 68th Street or when we fly out of LGA.
