Yesterday, Embraer – a multinational #aerospace corporation based in Brazil – announced a $70 million project at Perot Field Alliance Airport in #FortWorth. The company is expanding their U.S. footprint with a maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) service facility, which will help support their E-Jet customers. Embraer will begin operations in an existing hangar while working with Hillwood to construct a second hangar, which should be finished by 2027. The project is expected to generate more than $1.2 million in gross net new taxes for the city and create 250 new jobs. “As one of the largest producers of civil aircraft in the world, Embraer's new maintenance facility and 250 jobs will be an outstanding addition to our city, building upon the success of Fort Worth's well-established foundations in aerospace and aviation.” – Robert Sturns, Director of City of Fort Worth Economic Development Via AllianceTexas: https://lnkd.in/g6FMqmwh
