Last month, our co-founders, Jon and Susan Foss, went to the USA Master's National Championship in Mission Viejo, California for Jon to compete with the top swimmers in the U.S.! Jon received a bronze in the 50m fly and won lesser medals in the 100 freestyle (4th place), 50 freestyle (7th place), and 100 fly (8th place), as well as a relay. "It's shocking, I get just as nervous competing as a 60-year-old as I did as a child, you would not think that would be the case. Such a thrill to train and compete with amazing athletes! Such a confidence builder to everyone involved. Thanks to Susan, who made the trip so fun, a GREAT coach!" said Jon. To prepare for this competition, Jon trains over lunch or in the early morning with a Masters team. He swims roughly 9 miles each week. That's roughly the equivalent of running 40 miles. Meet Rebecca! 👋 Rebecca Johnson is our Director of Corporate Operations at our School Support Center in Eden Prairie, MN. As a mom of 3 young children, she recognizes our purpose to provide the best water safety education for our students and families. In her role, she is able to help our schools develop more efficient processes. Some advice Rebecca would give to someone in her field is: "Keep asking questions.
