Lights. Camera. Anxiety. 🦸 🎬 This year at New York Comic Con, The Syn immersed fans in the chaotic world of the HBO Original The Franchise, a comedy that satirizes the hectic behind-the-scenes making a superhero film. Positioned as a tongue-in-cheek jab at the hero genre, our booth space on the NYCC floor provided a look at the creation of the fictitious superhero film produced in the show. It featured hilarious pull quotes from the film crew, stills from the show’s “movie set,” and even replica props. Fans added to the fake multiverse by generating their own superhero name and a personalized digital movie poster as they were provided with exclusive cast and crew merchandise.
