The House FY2025 continuing resolution flat funds #TitleX, a major funding source for the Family Planning Council of Iowa, for the 11th year in a row. Given the growing need for contraceptive care in our state, today's bill provides inadequate support for family planning providers. Title X provides critical healthcare services, including contraception, cancer screenings, STD testing and treatment, and other preventive services to millions of low-income individuals. Any cuts to this program would jeopardize access to essential care for those who need it most. Let's stand together for better healthcare access.
