with the incorporation of GSD Contracting in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The team built a solid foundation and was recognized by The South Florida Business Journal as one of the top 25 commercial contractors in the market. This all lead to the ultimate acquisition of GSD, now known as Franjo Builders. A major contributor to the development of South Florida, Franjo Builders offers general contracting services in all commercial markets. Franjo Builders’ decades of expertise allow us to guide clients through the planning and construction of ground-up, renovation, and restoration projects.

    After much time off welcoming my baby girl "Sunny" this past summer; I took the time to reflect / recharge / relax (kind of). Maternity leave is over, and I am so excited to share this news with my network! I want to briefly express my gratitude for the time I spent at Glenewinkel Construction, it is where I made great friends and got the opportunity to make some high-level connections. It has been an incredible journey! However, my time there has come to an end as I've decided it's time for a new chapter and have accepted a new role as Director of Business Development with Franjo Builders! I look forward to re-connecting with so many of you - I'll see you all NETWORKING in the coming weeks ahead.

    Checking in from North Miami 🙌🏽🤩🌴 While it heats up in #Florida we make sure to take extra precautions related to weather safety. #OSHA suggests heat related illnesses can occur outdoors and indoors when the conditions create the perfect storm. We have implemented several #safety measures to be sure to prevent these issues. Some of the strategies include promoting hydration, frequent rest breaks, and providing cool shady areas for our team 🙌🏽🚧👷🏽♀️ Warning signs of heat stroke can include disorientation, confusion, slurred speech and unconsciousness. If you recognize any of these symptoms on or off of the job be sure to get yourself or your coworkers to a cool place and call for help!

    During the first week of May, we teamed up with Werner Corporation to recognize the OSHA National #StandDownToFalls initiative. As always, safety is our top priority. Our Safety Director, Jay C, establishes and ensures the safety and protection of our laborers, clients and vendors. Annually, it is estimated over 3 million people fall victim to workplace injuries and illness. Franjo strives to implement a culture of #safety by utilizing well defined policies and procedures and having a dedicated team of safety staff. Jay has lead the team to build a #safe workplace by continuing to educate our employees, clients and vendors on site and in the office. It has been shown that workers who feel #safe in their surroundings come to work with confidence resulting in efficient operations and increased productivity as a whole. 🚧 As Franjo continues to grow and learn from industry leaders we wholeheartedly believe there is no such thing as being too #safe.
