We can feel it in the air, the fair is here! There are lots of fun and intense sensations at the fair. The heat from the sun, the bustling and bumping crowds, the flutter of butterfly wings in the Butterfly House, and even the feeling of your own shoes after spending a long day walking around! We are happy to offer a space for any fairgoers to take a rest from all of the exciting and overwhelming sensations, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the fair. The Fraser Sensory Building, in partnership with Central Roofing Company, features a take-a-break sensory space for people with sensory processing difficulties who may find the sights, smells, noise, bright lights, and crowds of the fair overwhelming. Anyone who is experiencing sensory overload is welcome to approach Fraser-trained sensory support volunteers and utilize tools and techniques for regulation. The Fraser Sensory Building will also feature games, giveaways, educational resources, special guests and information about employment opportunities. Learn more at fraser.org/fair.

"You’ve likely seen the memes about the joy of canceled plans.
