Colleagues from our Stamford office recently dedicated a day of service at Mill River Park, where they planted ten trees and helped clean the surrounding area. The team also had the opportunity to learn from the Mill River Park Collaborative about the park's biodiversity and its vision for its ongoing conservation and growth. The Freepoint team's efforts will help protect and sustain Mill River Park's natural beauty, ensuring it thrives and benefits the entire community. On September 5, 2024, Freepoint Commodities Vice Chairman, Sheldon Pang, was honored at the China Institute in America's annual Blue Cloud Gala where our Chief Executive Officer, David Messer, presented him with the Institute’s Blue Cloud Award for 2024.   We celebrate his exceptional work in supporting the efforts of the China Institute and embodying their mission to deepen the world’s understanding of China.

Last month, our team at Freepoint Eco-Systems announced a new collaboration with Dow to transform plastic waste into new products and packaging. Dow will be the sole offtaker of Freepoint Eco-Systems' output in phase one of its Arizona recycling facility, transforming the certified-circular liquid supply into virgin-equivalent plastics for a variety of critical applications. We are excited to announce that the 2024 Freepoint interns have arrived! This summer, we have a total of 34 interns joining us in our Stamford, Houston, Singapore, London, and Shanghai offices across numerous departments. Over the next 10 weeks, they will be working alongside mentors and colleagues to learn more about Freepoint and the commodities industry. Today, Freepoint Commodities announced the renewal of our revolving credit facility at $2.5B USD with allowed growth to $3.2B.   Citibank, N.A., London Branch has joined the bank group as a new participant in the Facility.
