After connecting with parents or caregivers, we assess the individual's immediate resources, which may include extended family, neighbors, a religious community, and school personnel. Our approach acknowledges the client and family’s emotional states in a non-judgmental way, challenges children and families to set attainable goals, and further assists them in identifying who in their life can give them support.
