Enjoy some beer and live music while connecting with local climate leaders and activists! John Lanahan is hosting a Nashville Climate Meetup at our Fridays by the River Beer Garden on April 19th from 3-5pm. 😎 🍻 🌎 Hope to see you there!
🚨 ATTENTION 🚨 - There has been a ton of positive feedback about organizing a Nashville Climate Meetup so wanted to move forward organizing this first one. What better way than to support Friends of Shelby Park and Bottoms at their Fridays by the River beer garden event. I've sent invites to those that were interested, but wanted to share here as well. Very casual, let's all get to know one another. Thanks to Justin Gray at local startup Potluck, Inc. for invites! RSVP at the link below. What: Nashville Climate Meetup Date: April, 19th, 2024 When: 3-5pm (or longer) - the event starts at 3pm but feel free to swing by whenever you can. Where: Riverview Pavilion, Shelby Park and Bottoms - https://lnkd.in/g3cKK8SD Event Website: https://lnkd.in/gqdA93_y Admission: Free

It's a beautiful time of year to enjoy the park!
What's your #cybermonday2023 look like? Mine morning was spent enjoying the Friends of Shelby Park and Bottoms Cornelia Fort Airport Park. I have a renewed sense of enthusiasm for the nature that surrounds us all. When you're done online shopping, get out and reconnect with the real world and enjoy the beauty that nonprofits keep alive and create magnificent places for rest, relaxation and renewal.

Join us for the 4th annual Full Belly 5K and Fun Run Saturday, November 25! The whole family is welcome for this Thanksgiving weekend tradition from the youngest in the bunch to Aunt Bettye visiting from Ohio. Proceeds from the run benefit three great community organizations: Friend of Shelby, @marthaobryancenter and Scout Troop 3. We’re feeling thankful to have @nashvilleeddie back as our presenting sponsor. Eddie is donating an extra $50 to the Martha O’Bryan food bank for every team with 10 or more participants.
