The grant will bring resources to Justice40 communities most impacted by climate change, pollution, and environmental hazards. Glad to be part of this tree planting last weekend with my boys. The weather was wonderful, shining down as volunteers, civic leaders, and families gathered to remember lives lost in the 2021 heat dome event, and to plant 72 trees in Nadaka park and at homes in surrounding East Portland communities. https://lnkd.in/gweX_8jU Volunteering at a planting with Friends of Trees is a great experience, highly recommend.
