The Secret to Keeping Your Best Employees from Walking Out the Door If you’ve ever felt the pain of losing great employees, you’re not alone. Employee turnover is one of the biggest challenges companies face today—and the costs are higher than they seem. But the good news? There are proven ways to keep your top talent engaged and loyal for the long haul. Drawing from my experience as a CEO across different markets, I’ve seen firsthand what works. Below are two powerful strategies that can make a real difference: 1. Create Clear Career Paths That Inspire Growth Employees need to see a future with your company. When they know where they’re heading, they stay motivated. Here’s how to make it happen: Long-Term Development Plans: Map out personalized career paths for each employee, showing them exactly how they can grow within the organization. Frequent Progress Check-ins: Hold meaningful reviews every six months (or more often). Use these moments to discuss progress, gather feedback, and adjust development plans to align with their evolving goals. 2. Prioritize Employee Well-Being to Build Loyalty Your employees aren’t just assets—they’re people. Supporting their well-being creates trust and shows you care. Try this approach: Comprehensive Health Coverage: Offer health insurance that goes beyond the basics and includes mental health services. Wellness Programs That Work: Introduce practical wellness initiatives—like yoga classes, fitness challenges, and nutritional coaching. When employees feel good, they perform better and stick around longer. This is just the beginning. In my next post, I’ll dive deeper into more strategies that help companies hold onto great employees—and build a workplace people love. Stay tuned! #CEO #Manegmant #HR #Couchin #Team Bulding #Wellbing

  • Today, I want to share an innovative idea that was developed 40 years ago. I was growing cotton in Kibbutz Nahal Oz, where our land had hills. In a good year, our farm would receive around 300 mm of rain, and in a bad year, about 100 mm annually. We came up with an idea to save every drop of water by building small dams every 50 cm to prevent the water from draining away. This approach was highly successful in retaining water, and as a result, we achieved an average cotton seed yield of 6.5 tons per hectare. The machine for building these dams was created by Zach Afula and the technical team of Kibbutz Nahal Oz Farm. #irrigation #cotton #cotton farmers #farmers #machinary #Farms #sunflower farmers #sunflower #maize farmers #maize

  • Foliar fertilizers have gained significant popularity worldwide due to their direct and efficient delivery of nutrients to plants. However, the market is flooded with numerous products, many of which have subpar levels of active ingredients, particularly in their liquid formulations. For foliar fertilizers to be truly effective, they must contain adequate amounts of essential microelements and amino acids. Importance of Foliar Fertilizers Nutrient Absorption: Foliar fertilizers provide nutrients directly to the plant's leaves, allowing for rapid absorption and utilization. This method is particularly beneficial when soil conditions are not optimal for nutrient uptake. Stress Resistance: Properly formulated foliar fertilizers help plants withstand adverse weather conditions such as drought and cold. They enhance the plant's resilience, leading to healthier growth even under stress. Yield Improvement: By supplying essential nutrients directly to the leaves, foliar fertilizers can increase the number of flowers and the size of fruits, thus improving overall yield. In regions where soil fertilization is not commonly practiced, foliar application can offer a viable alternative, ensuring that crops receive the necessary nutrients for optimal growth. Key Components of Effective Foliar Fertilizers Microelements: Essential microelements such as iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), zinc (Zn), copper (Cu), and boron (B) play crucial roles in various plant physiological processes. An effective foliar fertilizer should contain these in adequate proportions. Amino Acids: Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins and play a vital role in plant metabolism. They facilitate the synthesis of essential enzymes and hormones, promoting healthy growth and development. Amino acids in foliar fertilizers can significantly enhance nutrient uptake and stress resistance. Choosing the Right Foliar Fertilizer When selecting a foliar fertilizer, it is crucial to read the labels carefully. Ensure that the product contains a balanced mix of microelements and amino acids. Here are some tips for choosing the right product: Check for Active Ingredients: Verify that the fertilizer contains the necessary microelements and amino acids. Concentration Levels: Ensure that the concentrations of these nutrients are sufficient to meet the needs of your specific crops. Reputable Brands: for products from reputable manufacturers with a proven track record of quality and efficacy. Concluded: Use Foliar fertilizer that contains high levels of Microelements and Amino acids. In my last post, I talked about food security. Many countries in Africa are suffering from low maize production due to poor technology, lack of know-how, and the dramatic changes in rainy seasons caused by climate change. We need to find a solution for the small farmers who are affected by this issue. In Uganda, about 1.4 million hectares are used for growing maize, with a production of around 2.7 million tons. This translates to approximately 2 tons of maize per hectare, which is very low. I have operated in East and West Africa for around 20 years, and through my trials, I managed to achieve 5.5 tons per hectare. Just imagine if I could assist Ugandan farmers in increasing their yield to 4 tons per hectare. This would significantly reduce the food security problem. How did I do it? I found that using a special foliar fertilizer that includes amino acids and microelements allowed me to achieve the proper yield. It is a simple and inexpensive investment. If you want to learn more, please communicate with me, and I will assist you. It's easy and simple. #NGO #small farmers, #Africa maize farmers, #Uganda Farmers, #NGO in Africa, #US Aid, #Agriculture ,

  • Addressing food security issues in Africa requires a multifaceted approach, and improving agricultural practices is certainly a crucial component. Your initiative to introduce modern agricultural techniques and provide subsidies for fertilizers could significantly boost crop yields and mitigate food shortages. By incorporating proper fertilization practices, such as using one bag of urea and tow application of foliar fertilizers, per Acre, containing microelements and amino acids, farmers can enhance the resilience of their crops against drought and improve overall productivity. My successful trial in Uganda, resulting in higher maize 2.2 t/ac and cotton 1.2 t/ac yields, demonstrates the potential impact of these methods. Collaboration between governments, NGOs, and local communities is essential to scale up these efforts and ensure widespread adoption of modern agricultural practices. Providing subsidies for fertilizers can help alleviate the financial burden on farmers and encourage them to embrace these techniques. However, it's also important to consider the long-term sustainability and environmental impact of agricultural interventions. Promoting agroecological practices, such as conservation agriculture and organic farming, alongside the use of fertilizers, can further enhance soil health and resilience while minimizing environmental degradation. Continued investment in agricultural research and extension services is necessary to tailor solutions to the specific needs and conditions of different regions in Africa. By empowering smallholder farmers with the knowledge and resources they need to improve their livelihoods, we can make significant strides towards achieving food security across the continent. #African Farmers, #NGOs,#Maiz grower in Africa , Cotton grower in Africa, # cotton ginners,# small farmers, # small holder farmers,

To be a CEO of a company is to be a leader, regardless of the company's current state. The CEO's role is pivotal, responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations and envisioning the future strategy for the company. In today's rapidly changing economy, CEOs must anticipate market trends over the next five years to steer the company in the right direction. Failure to adapt, as seen with companies like Nokia and BlackBerry when the iPhone disrupted the mobile phone market, can have significant consequences. Operating a company effectively requires a strong team that communicates positively and operates cohesively. The CEO must actively engage with the team to foster a culture of innovation and problem-solving. By maintaining close contact with sales personnel, the CEO can stay informed about the market's real dynamics. When the CEO embodies this proactive approach, they earn the appreciation and respect of employees, laying the foundation for effective leadership. #CEO #Management #Innovation #Corporate #HR #Coaching
