The Game of Thrones Studio Tour team has been delighted to support L3 Travel & Tourism students from Southern Regional College over the last few months. From sharing insights into our world-class attraction to hosting student placements, we’ve loved being part of their journey. Today, we rounded off their experience by welcoming them back down to the Studio Tour, where they immersed themselves in the magic of filmmaking while gaining valuable industry insights. We’re proud to partner with Southern Regional College in shaping the next generation of tourism professionals and look forward to welcoming more students in the future!

🔥 From Behind the Scenes to Centre Stage! 🔥 We were incredibly proud to see our Executive Director, Andrew Webb, take the stage at the IFTUK Masters At Work event on 18th February 2025, where he shared his journey in bringing the Game of Thrones Studio Tour to life. As a key member of the team behind the tour, Andrew spoke about his experience managing the world-class production facilities that shaped Game of Thrones and leading the transformation of Linen Mill Studios into an immersive visitor experience. Hosted by Irish Film & Television UK, the event was a fantastic opportunity to reflect on industry innovation, legacy, and the power of storytelling with fellow film and TV professionals. 🐍 As we get ready to celebrate the Year of the Snake, we’re thrilled to reflect on an exciting milestone for the Game of Thrones Studio Tour. On December 20th, 2024, we had the pleasure of welcoming tour leaders from Shanghai HCG Travel Group, one of China’s top travel agencies. Strengthening our ties with the Chinese market is a key focus for us, and this visit was a fantastic step forward. As we approach the end of January, we find ourselves continuing to reflect on 2024 – a milestone year for Game of Thrones Studio Tour! We surpassed 250,000 visitors, retained our five-star status, and won several awards, including Tourism Partner of the Year. To celebrate, we gifted complimentary tickets to local schools, sports clubs, and charities. Our partnerships with Netball Northern Ireland and the Irish Football Association also allowed us to support local teams and volunteers.
