Big announcement! Dr. Adithyan (Dithu) Rajaraman will be joining FTF in January!
Dithu is a Licensed, Doctoral-level Board Certified Behavior Analyst providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services, conducting research, and teaching for over 15 years. His professional experiences span multiple related domains, including trauma-informed care, neurodiversity-affirming services, practical functional assessments, and choice- and skill-based interventions addressing severe behavior. He has co-authored over 20 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters on these topics. Much of this research, practice, and consultation has been in service of helping individuals with intellectual, developmental, and emotional differences—primarily by teaching important life skills to preventatively address severe behavior.
Dithu is a South-Indian-American, born in Detroit, MI, but currently living in Nashville, TN, with his wife and lifelong coworker, Dr. Holly Gover, and their two cats, Chip and Louie. When not working at Vanderbilt University, he spends much of his free time walking or rucking toward a lofty 2024 step goal.
Dithu is also passionate about engaging science communication and dissemination. As an instructor and presenter, he has developed a reputation for distilling complex behavior-analytic concepts and research into accessible, actionable lessons. Dithu teaches in these contexts while blending humility, humor, and tremendous respect for individuals about whom he speaks. Dithu has provided more than 50 invited workshops, talks, and keynote addresses across the globe. This skills and experiences have led to his being positioned as a lead trainer for FTF, providing on-site two-day trainings in practical functional assessment and skill based treatment. We are currently scheduling these trainings, which will start in January 2025. Reach out to FTF (www.ftfbc.com) to secure a virtual or on-site training in PFA/SBT with Dr. Rajaraman!
