In honor of its 50th anniversary, the Fulton County Board of Commissioners proclaims April 2025 as 'Morehouse School of Medicine Month.' This proclamation celebrates Morehouse School of Medicine’s dedication to diversifying the healthcare workforce, advancing health equity, and expanding its programs and research. Founded in 1978 with an inaugural class of 24 students in a two-year medical sciences program, Morehouse School of Medicine became an independent institution in 1981 and established a four-year medical program in 1985. To date, it has graduated 3,283 students, including 1,867 physicians, with 60% of its MD graduates practicing across Georgia. #MorehouseSchoolofMedicine #ExperienceFulton #FultonInfo

More affordable housing for seniors is coming soon to South Fulton County! The third phase of the Anthem Senior Living Community broke ground today! Fulton County Chairman Robb Pitts joined the Housing Authority Board and its partners at 1940 Waycrest Drive, to celebrate the coming of the 60 one and two-bedroom units.
