We were bad at building UI apps, so we built AI Assistants directly into email - and users loved it. Eventually, we realized that countless workflows involve reading data from emails and entering it into portals. This can be made 10X better, faster & cheaper with AI. Here’s a video of an AI Assistant in action: it automatically processes email attachments, follows standard procedures, and fills out forms on portals to generate insurance quotes. Further AI (YC W24) is building a workforce of AI teammates for the insurance industry to handle repetitive manual tasks involving unstructured data processing and data entry across disjointed systems. Their first AI teammate handles quote generation workflows for insurance brokers & MGAs. The systems in the insurance industry today are highly disconnected, leading to a lot of manual tasks. These inefficiencies cost time and money, which is exacerbated by a shrinking labor pool. Many of these manual tasks couldn't have been automated before the latest advancements in Generative AI. This has led to the rising costs of insurance, which affect every individual in the U.S. Founded by Aman Gour and Sashank Gondala, Further AI is building a workforce of AI teammates to automate these insurance workflows.
