After nearly 18 years of working in the Operation Center at G&H Towing, Lonny Carney retired from dispatching harbor tugboats. Carney started at G&H Towing in 2006 after spending time in the Coast Guard and working as a police officer. He was promoted to watch supervisor in 2010 and became Assistant Manager in Corpus Christi in 2012. "I'm going to miss talking with the mariners," he said. "I've always tried my best to take care of them and they try to take care of me. I love my G&H family. I appreciate all the Company has done for me," Carney said. "Now it's time to concentrate on family and we'll being. Thanks to everyone who was there for me."

HAPPY NATIONAL INTERN DAY! Thank you to Rockport-Fulton High School and its Maritime CTE program for providing G&H Towing Company with great interns/employees from last year’s internships, as well as provided us our newest intern, Richard Lilly. These mariners have been extremely motivated and well trained. We would like to give special thanks to Joshua Nguyen, whose guidance you’ve provided to your students has enabled a local workforce that’s ready now and for the future. #rockportfultonisd #aransascountyisd
