Meet Tony Poisson, a Project Manager out of our Chicago office! Tony has been a branch manager and project manager for G2s Chicago office since 2004. With over 27 years of engineering experience in various aspects of geotechnical engineering, geotechnical instrumentation, and construction quality control, he’s spent the last 20 years at G2 managing work on thousands of tower sites and numerous land development projects across the country. Tony also has design experience including deep foundations (H-pile and timber pile, drilled piers, and helical piles), as well as segmental block walls. #MeetTheTeam #SmartResultsFast #GeotechnicalEngineering

On Tuesday, G2 attended the Just Build It! Construction Career Expo at Eastern Michigan University, for students in grades 8-12 to see hands on demonstrations and activities from industry professionals. G2 team members taught students about foundation design using gelatin! This expo offers great opportunities for students to explore career options in the construction industry. A look into G2’s summer orientation! Incoming interns and co-ops go through an in-depth and detail oriented training program to prepare them for a summer in the field. They learn about things like concrete testing and density testing, collect their tools and materials for the summer, and have the ability to ask questions and learn from the best of our project managers, staff engineers and field techs. #CivilEngineer #ConcreteTesting #DensityTesting #SummerOrientation
