A lot has been made about how legalizing sports betting has impacted the casino industry. Indeed, its impact cannot be minimized. Legalized sports betting has had a major impact on gaming and on Las Vegas. It has helped to de-stigmatize both sports betting and the city as a place for sports. We know that legalized sports betting has created a new income stream for casinos and helped to teach people how to do sports betting before they visit casinos.
