Garnet Health's laboratory department recently held a ribbon cutting for the new Roche Chemistry Technology at Garnet Health Medical Center. This technology offers significant benefits to patients as it ensures accurate, reliable test results leading to quicker diagnoses and more effective treatments. Over the next few months, the Roche Chemistry Technology will go live at Garnet Health Medical Center - Catskills, Callicoon Campus.

Congratulations to Garnet Health Medical Center - Catskills' August Employee of the Month Jessica Angus, RN, Behavioral Health Unit! 🐝🙌 Jessica is a true champion for her behavioral health patients. In one instance, Jessica noticed several critical gaps upon a patients discharge. The patient lacked a necessary appointment, a prescription for blood sugar management and access to therapy services. Jessica immediately cancelled their discharge and contacted the patient's insurance and arranged plans to continue their care. Thank you, Jessica, for your extraordinary care, compassion and dedication to ensuring your patients thrive.

She personally transported the patient to the main lobby, allowing the family to focus on retrieving the prescriptions in time.
