We develop mission critical solutions for those that lead, serve and protect the world we live in.

About us

At General Dynamics Mission Systems, a business unit of General Dynamics, we develop mission critical C4ISR solutions across the land, sea, air, space and cyber domains, but that doesn’t tell our whole story. When downed pilots are isolated in enemy territory, our equipment gives them a lifeline to call home. When a student opens a textbook to learn about the universe, they’re looking at data and pictures sent using our technology. When the government needs to share crucial top-secret information, our products help them keep this information out of the wrong hands. When sailors need to locate underwater mines, our technology allows them to find explosives with unmanned underwater vehicles. Delivering C4ISR technology is what we do but we think why we do it is more important.

The annual employee giving campaign is an annual effort at General Dynamics Mission Systems that gives the employees an opportunity to donate money to nonprofits that they are passionate about. In 2024, General Dynamics Mission Systems employees pledged more than $815,000! Activities include a large variety of events across all our facilities. The employee giving campaign team in Pittsfield, Massachusetts recently held an ice cream social event for the top teams who were the most engaged during the campaign this summer. The teams participated in the events, email quizzes pertaining to the Berkshire United Way, and donated or supporting the organization through volunteer activities this summer. "It was a great last social for the 2024 employee giving campaign. We had a good turn out and lots of smiling faces as they received their ice cream! It was also a mental break during the day to just chat and indulge in a sweet treat with coworkers," said Jamie Barthe, a senior systems engineer and member of the employee giving campaign in that location. A huge thank you to all our employees who participated and donated and volunteered across all our locations! Another great year impacting the causes and communities we care so much about.
