Shout out to MPH candidates Bhavana Huliyar, Carolyn Martinez, and Isabella Brocato for sharing their experiences working with GATE in last week’s Food for Thought event in the Department of Sociomedical Sciences - Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. Marni Sommer gave a wonderful overview of the GATE Program and all four presentations sparked some very insightful questions from the students and faculty in attendance. We loved being able to share our work with the Columbia Mailman community and it is always a treat to have students share their experiences working in menstrual health initiatives.
