Genesis Capital, a Rithm Capital (NYSE: RITM) company, is excited to announce the successful close of a $450 million rated securitization backed by residential transitional loans (“RTLs”). This transaction marks the second-largest rated RTL securitization, only surpassed by the company's record-breaking $500 million RTL securitization in April 2024. This achievement extends Genesis' track record of executing novel and innovative transactions. Notably, this is the first rated RTL securitization in the industry to feature a three-year term, providing Genesis with greater financial flexibility and attracting a longer-tenor investor base. With this securitization, Genesis' active issuance is now nearly $1 billion, allowing Genesis to compete more effectively in the industry, solidifying its position as a clear leader in the RTL sector.
