About us

In the heart of the nation’s capital, Georgetown Environmental Law and Policy Program brings together scholars and practitioners working across the spectrum of domestic and international environmental law, including climate change, energy, natural resources and land use. Our Environmental and Energy Law LL.M. is a unique degree program melding diverse and rigorous pedagogy with practical, real-world opportunities in Washington, D.C. The Georgetown Environmental Law and Justice Clinic is an advocate for underserved clients in the areas of environmental justice, pollution control, natural resources, wildlife and climate. We work closely with the Georgetown Climate Center, a leading legal and policy resource, helping state, federal, and local governments cut greenhouse gas pollution and prepare communities for the effects of climate change.
