Redux, a patented drying technology that removes 100% of the liquid from wet electronics if you encounter a spill, can save you time, money, and salvage your data.
Founded by Reuben Zielinski and Joel Trusty in Indianapolis in 2013, Redux uses their patented technique to remove moisture from liquid-damaged cell phones, cameras, tablets, MP3 players and other devices, and returns them to working condition.
The idea for Redux came when Trusty’s wife subjected her cell phone to a full cycle in the washing machine and was devastated that not only was the phone ruined, but all the data, contact information, photos and videos were lost. With a background in manufacturing, Trusty thought of a concept for how to save his wife’s phone and knew that his friend and neighbor, Zielinski, an ex-IBM employee, had the equipment to put it into practice. Together, they fixed the phone, and within one week created the first Redux model.
Currently, Redux is available at over 2000 wireless retail stores throughout the U.S. For more information, visit the Redux website.
