I enjoyed discussing SchoolAI last night in one of our insight2execution webinars! We looked at creating unique spaces for students and ways to craft the space prompt to get the best outcomes! The key to using any system that relies on an LLM is a good prompt. Learning to be specific and set the parameters is key. Why is SchoolAi becoming the top Ai for teachers? It is because it was created by classroom teachers for classroom teachers. It wasn’t created by Silicon Valley “just another IT project” engineers but real flesh and blood teachers. I met them. I know them. This is not ChatGPT with a “for teachers” label on it. The folks at SchoolAi have been where you are. They have been in the trenches. They have sat in the classroom on a rainy Monday night working on engaging class activities when the rest of the world is living their best life at home. That is why SchoolAi is the best. There is the example of an engaging student space where students at their own pace learn about the Battle of Ox Hill. This battle is a little known event in American history so most students will be on an even playing field. The student progress is based on their questions and the responses from the space. It is similar to the old “Choose Your Own Adventure” series. Guess what ESOL / MLL teachers? Your students can complete these student spaces in their home language. Yes, they can gain new or enhanced knowledge of a subject through posing questions of their own making and getting responses in their home language. This dynamic process of questioning means each student is using their own prior knowledge and past experience to move through the exercise. Not having strength in the English language will not hinder the students so they can demonstrate their understanding in their own way through this engaging process.
