Last week, our Co-founder and CEO May Habib joined reporter Belle L. at The Wall Street Journal CIO Summit for a provocative discussion alongside Naveen Rao and Philip Rathle about how enterprises can move from generative AI development to deployment at scale. 🤔 Kicking off the conversation, Belle L. asked, “What do you think is the status of enterprise generative AI at the moment? This idea of moving to pilots to production, is that actually happening?” 🎤 “In mission critical use cases that touch multiple departments, you’re collapsing 15 week SLAs into a 30 second process," May shared. "It’s a complete reinvention. For those use cases, if you don’t have generative AI as a service, with microservices for all the primitives you have to surround the LLM, you’re not getting to square one. If you’re not wrapping that LLM with data, with guardrails, with logic, you won’t be able to get the LLM to do deterministic things reliably and consistently.
